Hello again!
Well first of all, in all weekend i didnt have any chance to post something, i was very busy with the birthday of a friend and spending time with my family.
I still got my job (for now) but things start to look bad. The new bosses want to do what they want and it seems that they dont care about our jobs that we've been doing for a long time. I just hope i stay at least 1 month XD
And in other happier news, yesterday i went to GameRush and i found a used copy of Pokemon Ruby! I never played that game so i'm really looking forward to see the whole game.
I was going to attach a picture of my new game, but i think my cellphone camera didnt save the picture :-/

Hello again
Hi there everyone, i was looking at my statistics and i saw that almost everyone is using windows.
I'm more of a Linux guy :P (no virus!). Lately when i try to use a PC that has Windows, i find it kind of difficult because it freezes ALL THE TIME. That happens rarely with Linux even if i have a lot of things opened.
So, which one do you use?
Note: i was going to attach a picture of my cat, but this thing couldnt load the picture :-/

Hello everyone.
Right now, i'm enjoying my last days in my job. Our director and boss are going to quit, so new people will arrive in their place, then maybe the new ones bring some new guys to take over our jobs :(
It sucks to work in a place like this, where you can't hope to become someone important; i try not to complain, because i dont really need the job (i still live with my parents, 23 years old :P) besides, i'm going to another state to start my composer career in six months, so it doesnt bother me that much.
But i do feel bad for the ones that have kids and a wife, what are they gonna do if they lose their jobs? Obviously, look for another one but in the meantime, they're gonna have some bad times.

Today i'll share an epic masterpiece: Sorrow by Bad Religion.
When i saw this guys live back in 2006, i was like a little schoolgirl watching her pop idols XD Ok, i didn't scream like a girl or anything but i was really excited and i'm glad that they still keep going. I hope i see them live again someday.

Whoa!
So far, this day has been the worst of the week: i have tons of work, i'm starving and i dont know if i'll be working extra time. I just want to go home and watch a movie with my girlfriend (who, by the way, is making dinner right now)
Anyway, i only have like 2 weeks more of work and after that, i'm gonna focus more on my artistic career XD only hope my parents dont freak out...like they always do

Music review: The Offspring - Ixnay on the hombre
Ok, for those who don't know, The Offspring has been in the music business since 1987 (or something like that), and they have some really popular albums like Smash or Americana, but this my friends, is a really freaking good album.
Let's start with Disclaimer, sort of an intro with a little punk rythm, i believe that Jello Biafra made the vocals here; anyway, it's a solid start for an album.
Then the album really begins, The Meaning Of Life is your standard punk rock song with some lyrics about being an individual and not sticking to the system....call it cliche or classic, the song delivers.
The third track is Mota, which describes the average day of your fellow stoner and how he got trolled; the song itself has a serious tone and one of the classic Offspring riffs.
Then comes Me and My Old Lady...not really special here, it's more like a standard rock tune with some whiney vocals from Dexter Holland, not really interesting but a solid rock song.
Cool To Hate, the track for every teenager (and some office workers). The song is very simple, yet powerful. Things like "Liking something's just a waste of time,Yeah I hate everything, I even hate you too, So f*** you" makes you think what were these guys thinking? or if a 12 year old wrote this song XD but surprisingly, it's a very good song that became sort of a classic for a few years.
This is where things get kinda serious, Leave It Behind, Gone Away and I Choose are songs mostly about personal feelings, like the loss of someone, or the emptiness in life. I dare to say that Gone Away is one of the best punk rock songs ever made, even if it sounds like a "ballad" or a "sad song"
Aaahhh! The Intermission! I dont know how or why this song is here, but i think it fits the album perfectly.
After the intermission, things get pretty fast, All I Want and Way Down The Line are your catchy-as-f*** punk rock songs: Fast and under 3 minutes, and both have some good guitar riffs.
Don't Pick It Up is like an attempt to make another punk ska song (like What Happened To You in Smash), that gets kinda boring after a few listens, but it's under 2 minutes, so i'm ok with that.
The album finishes with Amazed, another song with a dark atmosphere and Change The World, a punk rock song that starts slow, but after a little while gets full speed with the classic punk drum beat and the fast guitar riffs.
Overall, a really good, solid album with a lot of variety. Maybe it doesnt have the ultra popular singles that we're used tu, but hell, here's a lot of good music.

To begin with, this guitar is made for men, why? it weighs, A LOT. If you are someone who can not hold a guitar for more than 10 minutes, stay away from the les paul standard, it's just not for you.
It's made to play any genre, from blues to metal, from punk rock to pop rock, is made for all.
The downside is the cost so high that it has, but do not worry, there is also the Epihpone Les Paul Standard (the one I have) and supposedly is almost equal in quality.

Fire starters, the best ones?
Well, I consider myself a fan of pokemon so it was expected to write something about the game.
Siempre he pensado que el mejor starter es el de fuego, tal vez el principio del juego se vuelve mas dificil porque casi siempre el fuego no es lo ideal para el primer gimnasio, pero a la larga se vuelve muy util.
I always thought that the fire starter is the best, perhaps the beginning of the game becomes more difficult because usually the fire is not ideal for the first gym, but eventually it becomes very useful.
For example, Pokemon Pearl / Diamond only has 2 fire pokemon in the game ... 2 POKEMON FIRE THROUGHOUT THE GAME. That already is a big plus if you decide to use the fire starter.
Apart from all the mechanics of the game, fire pokemon are the most badass, amirite?

Super Mario RPG: My review
This gem was passing so unnoticed when it was out there in the SNES in 1994, I still remember when I left school and went to a friend's house to play. We did not care that it was 1 single player, the story was so well done that with just watch, would spend hours entertaining.
The story is this: one day as any, Bowser decides to kidnap Princess Peach and, as usual, Mario goes to rescue her.
Once you get your first mission, something strange happens. For some unknown reason, falls from the sky a sword in the castle of Bowser, damaging the Star Road and scattering 7 stars. So your new mission is to know who that that dude that fell from the sky and recover the stars.
Perhaps the concept may be corny, but the story really sucks you, plus the characters are the best there is, Mallow, a frog that does not seem frog? Geno, a stuffed toy that comes to life to find the stars? Bowser, which lets you join the Koopa Troops (or something)? this game brings everything, even a small flashback to 1989.
The best part? That was made between Nintendo and Square Soft (then), so the best of the RPGs are included, even a little cameo of a super boss of Final Fantasy 4.

Tal vez el concepto este un poco choteado, pero la historia realmente te absorbe, ademas los personajes son de lo mejor que hay; Mallow, una rana que NO parece rana? Geno, un muñeco de juguete que vuelve a la vida para buscar las estrellas? Bowser, que te deja unirte a su Koopa Troopa (o algo asi)? La neta padre es que este juego trae de todo, hasta un pequeño flashback a 1989.
Lo mejor de todo? Que fue hecho entre Nintendo y Square Soft (en ese entonces), asi que lo mejor de los RPGs estan incluidos, hasta un pequeño cameo de un super boss de Final Fantasy 4.
